Thanks to everyone who shared a story about their mom this week. Here's one more story of a mom that knows what it means to love...
My mom is a very special woman who deserves to be honoured not only every 2nd Sunday in May, but everyday. I am one of three daughters who are blessed enough to call her mom. Our mom is in God's Word daily, and her actions reflect the strong faith she has. Every day, she rises early and is busy cleaning, cooking and managing our home. She lovingly and selflessly puts the needs of her family above her own. My mom is an excellent listener and helps my sisters and I make wise choices. She does all of this simply because she wants to. When she's not meeting the endless demands of life at home, my mom works at things outside the home. My mom takes us to places we need to be, does all the shopping, and also demonstrates love to those around her. She makes time for those who are lonely and helps in any way she can to make life a little easier when she sees someone in need. My mom never judges anyone and accepts all just as they are. There is nothing she will not help with. My mom is also a dedicated wife and daughter. She serves faithfully to my dad and spends time preparing meals for us when our family gets together-which is quite often! I can truely say my mom is the example of a Proverbs 31 woman and I love her very much!
Thanks for all you do mom! Happy Mother's Day!
P.S. Congratulations to Meredith and Jacob who are expecting their first child! You will make a wonderful mother, Meredith!
