Will Play For Chik-Fil-A Nuggets
I love worship conferences. There is something so electric and refreshing about getting 1500+ worship leaders in a room singing to Jesus at the top of their lungs. This was no different from my experience at the National Worship Leader Conference last week outside of Kansas City. What an honor for me to play even a small role in such a dynamic conference, to share the stage with so many godly worshippers who have in essence helped shape and influence my music and spiritual growth, and to join with hundreds of voices in lifting high the name of Jesus. It's the kind of setting you don't want to leave, a tiny taste of heaven I'd say. The congregation was right with me as we sang New Song We Sing, Who Is Like You, introduced a new song called Only To Be Yours and ended with my favorite, Revelation Song. I also had the opportunity of singing How Great Is The Love with Paul Baloche, a song that my husband Jacob and I wrote with him back in April. It was a sweet time of worship and fellowship to say the least.

The night previous to our involvement at the NWLC, we did a concert with Matt Maher in the parking lot of a local Chik-fil-a put on by Calvary 88.5. All the nuggets we could eat. Amazing night of worship. Sweet time of receiving and reflecting upon God's grace at work in us. Fun meeting new friends. Now I can say I played at a Chik-fil-a (which is hands down my fave fast food restaurant) and had a blast doing it! Hope to have more of these concerts in the near future. "Will play for nuggets." That's my new motto. :)
