GMA week could easily be dubbed as the busiest week of the year for many artists, radio personnel, and anyone else involved in Christian music with constant interviews, showcases, luncheons and meetings throughout the week. This year at GMA was no different, but in the midst of the hustle and bustle there remained an underlying purpose that unites us all as family and gives us a reason to do what we do that is bigger than ourselves. What an encouragement to meet so many others who are of like mind and heart, individuals whose desire is to communicate the Gospel clearly through their music and to see the name of Jesus lifted high in every aspect of their lives. I am so humbled to be involved in Christian music, to be able to use what gifts the Lord has given and point people straight back to Him. In my eyes, our week in Nashville was less about promoting ourselves and more centered on how to promote the name of Jesus with the platform He has given us, a coming together and rallying around the fact that we have been changed by the unfailing love of Christ and knowing that His Gospel can change the lives of all who hear. That's why we write. That's why we sing. That is, my friends, why we live

I like the all the songs, and i got a black t-shirt, really cool. Your music helps me get closer to God, i never buy a CD before, i was so exiceted when i got your Cd. You and Jacob are such a good match. Congrats on the 1 year mark. Isn't it something how God put this Carolina Girl and this Louisiana Guy together to love each other in this lifetime who "just happen" to have voices and other musical giftings that blend perfectly with each other? Ya'll and God are a great team. It was nice sitting on the same row with your parents, too. You must make them (& THE LORD) so proud.

I don't usually join this kind of stuff, but I just needed to thank you for writing that song (you invite me in). I've been dealing with a lot of guilt in my life...and the part that goes "Now I am walking away from the life I once knew. And running into your grace.
It covers my shame again and again" really struck my heart and I needed to hear that... That the grace of God is sufficient to cover all my sins. And because of that grace God doesn't see me and my flaws... but he sees Christ in me. Thanks Meredith. May God continue to use you and your music.
