Dominican Republic

Jacob and I just returned from a life changing week in the Dominican Republic. We were able to link up with 150 youth and volunteers from The Rock at McLean Bible Church just outside of DC and spend 7 amazing days sharing the Gospel on village streets, partnering with local area churches, washing little feet and giving out shoes, singing Spanish songs about Jesus, and spending the week with the sweetest kids in an orphanage in La Romana. We were all deeply impacted by the precious people of that country and will not soon forget the faces and stories we witnessed. Looking Back

Meredit,
I had to write and say Thank You, I felt like (and I know this is silly) you wrote this song about me ( I Am Not Alone)......my life has been one huge train wreck and through it all I always seemed to believe that God had left me alone to fin for myself but now that I look back through having to give up my new born child, through going throw 5 years of dialysis, through countless operations and numerous unsuccessful calls for a transplant and then finally getting one and the operations and medications and side effects and also a rejection episode afterwards.......I look back and realize that he was there all along silently giving me the strenght to go through all the things that I had experienced in my life Before I had heard your song I knew that God was dealing with me but it just wasnt enough for him to make me believe in him again until I heard your song........that was the push I needed, Thank You........I am walking closer to the Lord with everyday but I am not as close as I want to be yet, but I feel that as he moves more in my life the stronger I will be with him. And also I would like for you to pray for me, I have been told that my doctor wants to put me back on the transplant list.....please pray that I will not need another transplant or dialysis ever again in my lifetime..............Thank You Again, Malena
